Bed Rot is MB04 from Mare Bears: Bedtime Ruined, an original SwagBag.US character collection built around bedtime problems that refused to stay small.

Five more minutes became a whole ecosystem.

Meet Bed Rot

Bed Rot only wanted five more minutes. Then five became forever, and something beneath the blankets began growing back. Now this permanently exhausted Mare Bear carries the same pillow everywhere, too comfortable to get up and too overgrown to hide what happened. The mushrooms seem happy, at least.

The successful physical print

This finished multicolor print uses saturated green, warm ivory and white, orange rot patches, white mushrooms, and smoke-gray stitches, pupils, and nose. The small gray details were assigned transparent purple, but there was not enough material depth for the purple tint to build visible saturation. The smoke-gray result suits Bed Rot so well that it is preserved as part of this physical colorway.
